Revised Thesis Statement

I believe that  ­­­the lack of parent involvement is the most important challenge facing my community. This is a significant challenge because without parent involvement students become unmotivated to do schoolwork and won't be recoginized for accomplishments they do academically. If they see they are being recognized, students will feel good about working hard im school. To solve this challenge, I propose  that parents try to switch work hours to try to spend some time with their child helping them in their academics.
